The Mazda MX-30 R-EV is a plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) unlike any other. Like a battery-electric vehicle (BEV), the wheels are driven exclusively by electric motors. However, unlike other PHEVs, the petrol engine doesn't power the wheels directly, but acts as a generator to charge the battery. That means you can enjoy uninterrupted electric propulsion wherever you go.

As with a conventional car, the range and efficiency of the Mazda MX-30 depend on road and weather conditions.

It’s easy, and the same procedure as with every other electric vehicle. You plug it into your wallbox at home or at any public charging station in your area. Using the wallbox is highly recommended, as it offers you the convenience of charging from the comfort of your own home. You may also plug it into a normal electric socket although this is the slowest method of charging and not recommended as a regular way of charging.

At Mazda, "MX" has always stood for models that go their own way and convey new values without being tied to the conventional ideas of the present. The Mazda MX-30 represents new values and every detail has been rethought. The number 30 is an indicator of the positioning of the Mazda MX-30 in the Mazda model range.
